There is a lot of good news for the general public on the first day of April.  The country's oil marketing companies (HPCL, BPCL, IOC) have announced a reduction in the cost of non-subsidized LPG LPG cylinders.  The price of 14.2 kg non-subsidized ANPG cylinder in Delhi has been cheaper by Rs 61.5 per cylinder.  Now the new prices have come down to Rs 744.  Let you know that on March 31, the government announced a reduction in the price of natural gas produced in the country.  Prices have dropped by 26%.  The fall in natural gas prices will also reduce the prices of CNG, pipe gas houses (PNG), but it is expected to reduce the revenue of gas producing companies like ONGC.

According to the price quoted on the IOC website, the price of 14.2 kg non-subsidized C LPG cylinder in Delhi 0 has now come down to Rs 744 from Rs 805.50.

So it will cost Rs.  744.50, 714.50 in Mumbai and 716.50 in Chennai which is Rs.  839.50, Rs 776.50 and 826.

The price of 19 kg LPG LPG cylinder has also been cut, which came into effect from 1st April.  In Delhi, a 19 kg LPG cylinder has become cheaper at Rs 96.  Earlier, the price of a gas cylinder was Rs.  1,381.50, which has dropped from 1st April to 1,285.50.

Similarly, the price has gone up to Rs 1,348.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1,234.50 in Mumbai and Rs 1,402 in Chennai.
